President Kagame meets EAC Secretary General

President Paul Kagame on September 13 received Veronica Mueni Nduva, the Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC), at Urugwiro Village.

Their discussions were on regional integration and other matters relating to the East African community.

This was the first time President Kagame was receiving SG Nduva who was sworn into office on June 7, replacing Dr. Peter Mutuku Mathuki.

After assuming office, the new secretary general said her key priorities include strengthening economic integration that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation in addition to peace and security.
